The Isac Amaya University Scholarship is available to undergraduate students in the state who are attending or plan to attend an Arizona university (public or private).

Requirements:

1. Students must be recent high school graduates or undergraduates at a university in Arizona. 

2. The scholarship is available for students who don’t qualify for financial aid due to their immigration status. 

3. Applicants must show proof of enrollment at the university they are attending, effective Spring 2023. Students must send proof of enrollment (copy of schedule, letter of acceptance or other document) to scholarships@isacamayafoundation.org after completing the application.

4. Students must submit a 250-word essay explaining their financial need. 

5. Students must submit a 1 to 1.5-minute video answering the questions in the application.

6. The winner will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship that will be sent to his/her school. Funds will not be given to the student directly.

7. Awardees may participate in media interviews. 

8. Previous Isac Amaya Scholarship recipients are not eligible for this year’s award. 

9. All application materials must be submitted to scholarships@isacmayafoundation.org by November 30th, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. with the subject line “YOUR NAME: University Scholarship”
